Comments about The Poughkeepsie Tapes:
This.. This film is the perfect combination of found footage/mocumentary. This is another psychologically disturbing movie, however, there is very little gore in it. The grainy VHS style in some scenes is something that will stick with me for the rest of my life. I am absolutely enamoured with this film.

Comments about Martyrs:
Every time I tell someone that this is my favourite movie, 98% of the time, they are appalled. It's not that I like the content, or the subject matter of the film in itself, it's that this has to be one of the most beautifully made films. The visuals are stunning, and the acting is done incredibly well. I do have some issues about where I, personally, thought that the film should have been concluded, but none the less, to me, this is the 'bee's knees' of horror/torture movies.

Comments about Philosophy of a Knife:
I've seen Faces of Death, Cannibal Holocaust, Guinea Pig, and A Serbian Film, but nothing- and I mean NOTHING I have ever seen has been so disturbing. This is a 4 hour, two part film. How I got through this entire movie is still a mystery to me. I got to the point where I had to keep telling myself: "It's not real. It's only a movie." The imagery is so realistic and gritty. The fact that human beings can do the things portrayed in this film so nonchalantly, disturbs me to my core. The things I saw in this film will stick with me for the rest of my life, yet, for some reason, I continue to recommend it. If you have the stomach to endure Philosophy of a Knife in it's entirety, I commend you. I can tell you with certainty, you will be beyond disturbed.
